In Fernsehreportagen oder Dokumentarfilmen über Alternative Energien, Containerschiffe und Containerbrücken, Schiffsschrauben, Freifallrettungsboote, aber auch Portraits über Astrid Lindgren, Kinderbuchautor Erhard Dietl und das Sandmännchen……, lässt die Künstlerin Fernsehzuschauer am aufregenden Leben teilhaben. Die extrovertierte Künstlerin fühlt sich magisch zum Wasser hingezogen. Ihren Urlaub verbringt sie gern mit ihrem Mann in Portugal – natürlich an der Atlantikküste. Ehe sie mit ihm zusammen das Presse- Filmbüro gründete begann sie ihre berufliche Laufbahn als Fotografin.

Das damals geschulte Gespür für das Visuelle hilft ihr heute beim Entdecken von Motiven und bei Regieanweisungen für die Kameraführung ebenso wie ihre künstlerische Laufbahn als Malerin und Designerin. Die richtige Komposition für das Bild ist beim Gemälde ebenso wie im Film von großer Bedeutung. Die ersten eigenen Filme machte sie mit 20 Jahren von Töchterchen Freya. Es offenbaren sich großformatige fließende Traumlandschaften und Kompositionen hauptsächlich in Öl- Lasurtechnik und hellen freundlichen Farben.”Ich tauche in die weiße Leinwand wie in ein Meer, um zu erfahren, was in der Tiefe liegt”, so die vielseitige Künstlerin.

Abends sitzt sie dann mit Vorliebe bei einem Glas Wein auf einen der vielen Elbpontons, im Rücken die pittoreske Silhouette von Blankenese mit seinen schnuckeligen Kapitänshäuschen und seinen protzigen Villen und träumt von einem kleinen soliden Motorboot, mit dem sie samt Picknickkorb mit ihrer Familie zur gegenüberliegenden Insel Schweinesand tuckern kann.

Bleibt nur zu wünschen, dass ihr riesiges Potential an Fantasie und ihre Freude am Elbgeschehen uns noch jede Menge Überraschungen beschert.
